wishful thinking

January 6th, 2005 at 01:07 pm

for some reason (I'll blame it on boredom, since every day I am paid to be bored silly), I decided to research kitchenaid stand mixers on the internet this morning. now ordinarily I can research something, find the best price, and tuck it away in my memory banks for later. today I had the HARDEST time not ordering that damn mixer. I don't know what came over me. I think knowing that it was on sale and that I could get an extra bowl with it and that I couldn't get it in the color that I want at the stores around here and that it had FREE SHIPPING (free! oh those evil words) made it harder. however, I prevailed. I am going to pay off my credit card before I buy it. my credit card will be paid off next week, and then I will reconsider the mixer. maybe by then the excitement will have worn off! I desperately want one of those mixers, and they last forever, but I don't NEED one right this minute.

brought lunch from home again and ate too many butterfinger crisps. candy in desk drawer=bad idea.

I love my kitchenaid, I have my grandmothers that I can't manage to get rid of even though it didn't work, and I got my Mom to buy mye a new working one. The best investment she ever made for me Smile.

oh I know! my mom has had one forever and she just loves it. it makes baking and cooking so much easier and more fun. I am completely in love with the 12 cup bowl-lift stand mixer, professional 6 series in "caviar". I can't wait!!!
